~OuR TaiWaN TriP 2009 - DaY 5~

1st November 2009, Sunday - Taipei Day 5
The weather at Taipei today is abit wet...it's been raining since we were having breakfast at our hotel...but still...it shall not disturb our plans for today...we will hafta long long day ahead...hehe

Luckily for us, the rain stopped once we arrived at CKS Memorial Hall...It's a nice nice place...something like Sun Yat Sun Memorial Hall but o coz the building looks abit diff....as in this memorial hall had a blue ceiling...as it was sunday morning when we visited the place...there are diff groups of ppl practising their dance dere...interesting...hehe

After CKS Memorial Hall in the morning, we made our way to Taipei Main Station as we wanted to go to Taiwan Storyland...however the place does not turn out to be as nice as what we expected and it was rather ex to go in too, thus we decided not to go in...we just had some photos taken outside the place...hehe

Lunch was at Shin Kong San Yue next to the Storyland place...we had our lunch at the foodcourt located at the basement of the 13 storey shopping centre...i was most amazed by the lift girl of the shopping centre...she reali served her customers with passion and greets everyone of them...tis is wat i call passion for her job...she must reali enjoy her job to be able to serve her customers wif pride and passion... Salute to Her!

After lunch, we proceeded straight to Taiwan Gu Gong Po Wu Yuan...it's rather far from Taipei Main Station...had to take bus from Jiantan Station...but the bus journey was still ok la...not very long as compared to gg to Jiu Fen...hehe hmmm personally i dun reali enjoy visiting the place...prob coz i'm not the history kind o person...and m not very interested in Chinese history...also coz we dun haf a guide and i dun reali understand all the items inside....but it was reali an eye opener for us...coz they hafta a wide range of antiques inside...ranging from calligraphy to paintings to jade and old old antiques from the war...interesting.. i was most amazed by the famous jade vegetable and kong ba bao...too bad...cant take pics inside...thus no pictures of all the items and the place...boo! hehe

I must say we were quite lucky today coz we had some more time to take the free shuttle bus to Miramar...it's a new shopping mall with a huge ferris wheel...it's a nice place i must say...hehe and and and...we were very lucky to haf a free shuttle bus to take us to our next intended destination...and that's Shihlin Night Market!!!~~ So lucky lor...hehe and it's free somemr....if not for the shuttle bus, i thk we still hafta change train or bus lor....so yah...reali very lucky...and still able to shop awhile at Miramar Shopping Centre also... hehe

Shih Lin Night Market was an eye opener as well...the food place and the streets...it was raining on & off when we reached dere...thus mummy and daddy only joined us for dinner and for the rest of the 2 hours, they were waiting for us at the Jiantan Station...coz they din wanna shop as it was damn crowded and it was raining quite heavily for awhile too...hehe bt hor...they still manage to eat Ah Zhong Mian Xian at Shih Lin Night Market wor...whahahahhahaha!!

It was not too bad for us too....coz we da bao-ed Ah Zhong Mian Xian for supper back at our hotel too..whahahhaha!! It's reali addictive... =)
