Sometimes..life is all about making choices...no matter whether it is...family matters, relationships, work or even basic day to day activities..we're always making choices...
we will not noe if the choices we made are the right or best choice until we made that one choice.. certain things cant co-exist and happen at the same time and thus we hafta make a choice..

It's often tough to make a choice and even tougher to make a wise and strategic choice..
so...all we hafta to do is try to make the best choice of wat we thk will be the best choice...for ourselves and for the ppl ard us...
for mi...making choices is nv easy as i'm one who is fickle-minded..and wanna the best for everyone..bt still i hafta make tat choice...
i follow the principle of making less ppl sad n more ppl happy...based on the situation....
hopefully...my choice made today was a good one..if not...i will try to make beta decision nxt time round.. ^_^

Dearie's exams are round the corner and we gave up celebratin jetc's bday and watching soccer wif elf outside for watchin soccer at dearie's hse..hmmm can feel dearie's stress level is quite high esp wif proj not completed and 7 papers in 2wks...excluding wkends..hmmm sorry elf n jetc..hope u all had a great nitez.. ^_^

Lunch today was @ AMK NYNY...i esp love the dark strawberry drink...it's juz so yummy....juz thkin o it makes mi drool....hahaha aft lunch...we went to buy our dinner...including his bro..we bot 4 burgers for onli $2!!!hehe thanks to the mac points.. ^_^

Chelsea vs Man Utd match was very exciting tonight...thou the Red Devils did not win the match...i still tot they played quite well in the second half...if not for tat penalty kick..i'm sure they would hafta draw the game..bt at least it was not a clean sheet frm chelsea...rooney scored a gooooaaaalllll....YEAH!!!!

The whole o sunday was spent slacking and readin blogs...whahahahaha n also helpin dearie wif his accounting...hmmm not all done yet...bt still i hope dearie benefited frm my short session and if time allows...i hope to tell him more abt acctg...so tat my one year o hard work would not be wasted...hehe

went for the NTU Alumni movie screening with aunty merry and aunty blur blur at Great World City today...woahz..it's been a long long time since i been dere..cant even rem when was the last time..hehe it's juz too inconvenient...was surprised to find out tat they actuali serve buffet at the cocktail reception...at 1st i tot it was juz a normal drinks reception...lucky merry and mi..we din had our lunch yet and i muz say the food dere was quite yummy...hehe

I would say the movie Forbidden Kingdom was a typical Jackie Chan show wif lotsa fighting scenes and humour..it's nice...however the mixture of languages makes the whole show abit weird or awkward when listening..would love the show if it's shown in all chinese...bt i guess the producer wanna a mixture o everything...so tat it can attract a wider audience..smart move!i guess tis is wat they meant by "Zhong Xi He Ping"...where the East meets the West... ^_^

Went to orchard for shopping and dinner as we decided tat we've not much to shop at Great World..hehe shopping at Isetan and dinner at Pepper Lunch was definitely beta..hehe tis time round we manage to take some pics...bt i still feel it's too few...let's take more e nxt time kkkkkk?? aunty blur blur...tot u say u like taking pics as it's a gd way for keeping memories??i agree!! A picture definitely paints a thousand words...so let's take more pics and safeguard more memories!!hehe

DeFiNiTeLy, MaYbE...

decided to watch the movie Definitely, Maybe with dearie today with his bday treats voucher frm GV...went marina GV today and the queue's reali long...it's a long time since i watch a movie at GV...i still prefer Cathay..hehe bt i'm amazed by the number of ppl watchin movies despite the recent hikes...it's reali an activity tat sporeans cant do w/o...hehe w/o wkend movies..i guess our life will be so so boring.. ^_^

b4 the show..dearie n i went down to Bugis to buy a Seiko watch for daddy's bday...it's an automatic watch and thanks dearie for sharing the pre wif mi..hehe ^_^ i'm glad we din chose the one at 25hrs, despite their excellent service..hehe

Definitely, Maybe was definitely a nice show for mi...i like the whole structure of the story..how a story is told by telling it to her daughter..it's an interesting and creative way of story-tellin...nice!n the whole show was definitely veri romantic n touching...thou the couple onli got tg aft sucha long time...bt still it was worth the wait...they still got tg in the end..so...wat's urs will be urs in the veri end..muz still...muz treasure everything tat u hafta now... ^_^

went to see the Singapore Flyers after the movie and took lotsa pics dere.....hehe looking forward to the day when i can go up dere n see the great view of Singapore's skyline!!! hmmmm hmmmm...... *_*

met up wif sandz at bugis after work..it's been a long time since we caught up wif each other..esp as the whole F5..reali missed all o em veri much..hehe hope aft juney's and lili's exams...we can mit up more often..JIA YOU juney and lili..all the best and hope to see ya gals soon!!!

sandz and i went for dinner at Siam Kitchen...hmmm i took the Tom Yum Seafood glass noodles and it's reali yummy!!i like the tom yum taste dere..not too hot and not too sour..juz nice...NICE!i'm glad i now hafta more choices at JP...coz dere's Siam Kitchen at JP too!!!hehe...enjoyed chatting and catching up wif sandz...we were joined by jessie who came at abt 8plus aft her conference talk...she told us lotsa stories abt her work at Mt Eliza..and both sandz and i were amused...amazed...horrified..by all her interesting stories...hehe can sense tat she enjoys her job veri much..guess tis job reali suits her well...glad she's happy dere... ^_^ take care and work hard gal!!! awaiting for u to share more stories wif us............... ^_^

$1.90 BuS TriPs

hmmm yesterday dearie came to NTU to accm mi for lunch n dinner n his trip home reminds mi of the $1.90 busfare that daddy has taught us..whahaha n it's a reali useful and cost-saving thing to noe..so juz would like to share wif eveyone how this works..coz i personally feels tat tis is quite impt in a high cost o living Singapore...hehe

A small little tip on saving on ya busfare esp for bfs sending gfs home.. ^_^

1st: Wheneva we take two buses within a certain time limit..our fare will be a transferred amount...tat is to say tat the fare will be slightly cheaper than a new trip fare...

2nd: This whole $1.90 trip will only allow up to a maximum of 4 bus transfers within 2hours..tat is to say...u muz board your 4th bus (the last bus) within 2hours..more than 2 hours...it will be a whole new trip fare..

3rd: All the 4 buses must be SBS buses...no Trans..so everyone....plan ya route b4hand!!whahaha..

4th: For each individual transfer..it muz all be done within 40mins..tat is to say...when u alight the first bus..u nid to take ya second bus within 40mins from the time u alight...same for the 3rd and 4th bus..hehe

5th: There should not be a repeat in bus number from the 4 buses...tat is to say..for eg..if 154 is your first bus...the rest of the other 3 buses cannot be 154 again..hehe tough yea??bt it's a challenge.....Start planning ya journey now!!!~~~

Lastly..an example: From Vivocity to Taman Jurong to Bishan
Take bus 30 from Vivo to Taman Jurong, takes about 1hour...bus fare is $1.29
Then from Taman Jurong take 154 to Clementi, takes about 30mins..bus fare is $0.61
Total cost is already $1.90...so the last bus from Clementi to Bishan will be FREE!!!whahaha tat is....u muz take 52 from Clementi within the next 30mins....which i'm sure u will not wait for bus for so long...unless when dere's traffic jam..which i thk it's onli once in awhile... ^_^

Although i've got all tis gd tips...bt i would still prefer driving..whahaha stupid increase in oil price..postponed my plan to drive a car to a veri later later date...ARGH!!!angry....... ^_^

PS: This is Janey's own calculation and tested frm my own exp..so any other differences...i do not bear any responsibilities..hehe feel free to try it out BFs....i thk u can save some money tis way n spend the rest o money in buying a diamond ring or flowers for ya GF..hehe

went to Guang Ming San wif dearie and his family to pay respect to his dad..hmmm have nv been dere before..can onli get to see it frm afar at dearie's study room..hehehe since today was the last wkend to go n pay respect...dere were lotsa ppl dere..

helped his mother wif the normal ritual or offering joss sticks and food....followed his mother into the altar to pay respect to his dad..hmmm there were rows o urns placed neatly inside large cupboards...this is my first time seeing such a place..usually i would onli see them on TV shows...it was an eye opener..hehe *thanks dearie for carrying mi up.. ^_^ *

it was reali hot tat day..the sun was shining so so brightly n we were all sweating..hehe bt still...i dun feel tiredz..i felt tat it was a meaningful trip n i'm glad they asked mi to join.. ^_^
i was most fascinated by the the big furnance where the joss papers are burnt..i believe tat the temp was at least 110 degree celsius or perhaps even more lor..n there many bangla workers standing near to the furnance, helping to throw the joss papers into the big furnance...and they were all working hard n tough...sweating much much more than us...n at no point in time i saw them sitting down, drinkin ice water and resting...it indeed was a veri tough job..i believe veri few locals or none, would wanna do it...sometimes...i reali admire those ppl...if not for them..i thk our country will be a polluted country wif no one to clean the roads...to empty rubbish bins and to sweep the floors...so despite some other factors.....*hehe u noe i noe can le...* i muz say...i respect them and their job... *salutes*

dinner in the evening was at a restaurant called Shabuya at Vivocity...it was a mini bday celebration for dearie and his frends who were also borned in april...no wonder they are best o frendz..hehe veri funny...the reason y they chose this expensive restaurant was bcoz or some miscommunication..hehe bt end up...i believe they still enjoyed the food and ambience...hmmm n the curry beef rice is nice...affordable....n still yummy!!bt e price of the bbq was abit on the high side i feel...howeva...i thk it was a good experience...the nice ambience makes it even more special..i hafta nv try something like tis b4...*not counting seoul garden o coz...*hehe bt somehow i feel we can still find somewhere even beta than tis... ^_^
*thking of Chang Korean Restaurant at Dempsey...heard they served nice korean bbq... ^_^*

His frends bot him a silver tie...n i guess it's real suitable for dearie...coz he's gg to start looking for jobs soon...n tie is a must at interviews!! ^_^ the rest o his frends also got wat they wanna..thk Jing Jing reali noe how to get prezzies and noe wat they reali nid... ^_^

mummy and daddy decided to help mi save money for Graduation Photo Taking at the studio..hehe they say tat such money can be saved...so mummy suggested we go Chinese Garden for the photo taking before i need to return my gown tomorrow...she says that Chinese Garden has nice scenery and furthermore..it's so near to our house... since they are so enthu abt taking photos at Chinese Garden..i shall agree.....also they are helpin mi save money..n e most impt thing is to make them happy so dere's no reason for mi to disagree...i'm a gd ger...whahahaa!!
